To commemorate Millennium Park's 10th anniversary Spanish sculptor Jaume Plensa, creator of the Park's Crown Fountain, installed four temporary pieces in the Park.
Each piece is modeled after a young girl and is named after its model. The largest piece, a 38 foot tall white resin portrait titled "Awilda", towers over Michigan Avenue at Madison Street. Three smaller pieces, titled “Laura,” “Paula” and “Ines”, are constructed of cast iron and stand in the plaza adjacent to Plensa's Crown Fountain.
The sculptures will remain installed until December, 2015.
